ROX was thrilled to join thousands of football fans on Sunday (June 10) in support of Soccer Aid.

It was a full house at Old Trafford as Robbie Williams’ England XI took on Usian Bolt’s World XI in a game like no other. Celebrities including Olly Murs, Mark Wright, Joe Wicks and Martin Compston joined pro players such as Eric Cantona and Michael Owen at the Theatre of Dreams as part of the annual football extravaganza in support of Unicef.

ROX co-founders Kyron Keogh & Grant Mitchell were honoured to make the journey to Manchester to enjoy a game packed with fierce but friendly competition. A thrilling spectacle of sporting excellence the match was decided by a penalty shoot-out when the teams drew 3-3 by the time of the final whistle and it was former Inbetweeners star Blake Harrison (who played the lovable Neil in the hit teen comedy) who clinched the coveted win for England XI. And while his team might have lost out on the chance to claim the title of champions, Usain Bolt was crowned Man of the Match by official timekeepers Hublot.

ROX has been following the build-up to the big day closely as players donned special ROX x Soccer Aid bracelets designed in support of the event. This year’s match is being celebrated as one of the most successful over the last decade having raised more than £5.5 million for the charity.
