COMPLIMENTARY RING SIZING
Don’t panic if your ring choice too large or too small! Your first sizing is complimentary to ensure the perfect fit.
If we can’t size your ring, we’ll exchange it for the same ring in the correct size or specially make a ring for you in the correct size. If we need to specially make a ring for you, this could take a few weeks.
You can take the ring to your nearest ROX boutique where we’ll check your partner’s finger size and re-size it at our workshop. A simple ring sizing (i.e. up and down a couple of sizes) normally takes just a few days but we do offer a same day service in Glasgow if you are in a hurry. More complex sizings, can take longer and we will advise at the time of your visit.
Alternatively, we can collect your ring via secure courier, re-size it at our workshop and then ship it back to you. You can check the size your finger using the complimentary finger sizer sent with your order. Please request a Returns Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) so we can organise collection on a day to suit you.
RETURNS
You can return your unwanted items to any of our boutiques or you can post it to us.
Please ensure that your unwanted items arrive back to us within 14 days from the date you notified us of your intention to cancel your order with the Security tag still attached and in-tact. If you received a free gift with your purchase, you must return the free gift to be entitled to a refund.
We are sorry but we cannot offer exchange or refunds if your item has been specially made to order or personalised to your requirements (i.e. finger size altered, engraved, etc).
Please request a Returns Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) before you post your order back to us. We will send you returns instructions to post your return to us. Please note that you are responsible for returning the item(s) to us and you will need to pay for postage unless we have sent the wrong item to you or if your item is faulty or if your ring needs sized.

All ROX jewellery comes with a warranty that covers manufacturing defects for a period of one year from the date of original purchase from an authorised ROX dealer. This warranty does not cover damage from normal wear and tear, abuse, accidents, or intentional damage.
You can extend the warranty for your ROX jewellery to three years if you register your ROX jewellery via the ROX website by clicking this link: https://www.rox.co.uk/register
Registering for the ROX warranty extension is quick and simple. Please make sure you have the Certificate of Origin of your ROX jewellery at hand before you start the registration process. You will need the Purchase Date and SKU to register your jewellery.
The warranty extension will cover any manufacturing defects that are acknowledged as such by ROX. The warranty extension does not cover damage from normal wear and tear, abuse, accidents, or intentional damage.
Your jewellery will require care and regular maintenance to protect its appearance.
We recommend that you visit ROX at least once a year to have your jewellery professionally cleaned and checked. This annual check helps identify potential issues like loose settings or damaged clasps, preventing loss of stones or other damage. Some insurance companies make this a requirement of their insurance policy. More frequent inspections, perhaps twice or even three times a year, may be advisable for items worn daily.
Here’s our ROX top tips for caring for your jewellery:
Don’t wear your jewellery while doing heavy lifting, DIY, gardening or working out in the gym. Even though a diamond is durable, it can be chipped by a hard blow.
Avoid contact with gritty substances. Gritty substances can scratch and mark gold and platinum and coloured stones.
Don’t let your jewellery come in contact with chlorine bleach or harsh chemicals when you are doing household chores. Chlorine can lead to discoloration, tarnishing, and even structural weakening of some metals, potentially causing stones to loosen or fall out.
Remove your jewellery when applying everyday lotions such as sunscreen and perfume. Lotions create a film on your jewellery and can even penetrate some porous coloured gemstones.
Store your jewellery carefully. Store each item of jewellery separately in pouches to avoid them scratching each other. Keep chains fastened and lay them flat so they don’t get tangled up.

At ROX, we hand‑select only the finest precious metals to ensure every piece feels exceptional, lasts beautifully and suits each customer’s personal style.
Platinum and white gold may look similar, but they are two distinct and different metals.
Platinum is our signature luxury metal – rare, naturally white, incredibly durable and perfect for securing diamonds, with a weight and patina that feel unmistakably premium. Platinum retains its colour and develops a beautiful patina over time. If you prefer the the 'as new' appearance of platinum, ROX can polish your ring to look like new again.
Pure gold is naturally yellow so white gold is crafted from pure gold mixed with white metals and finished with a bright rhodium plating, giving it a sleek, mirror‑like shine. White gold offers a bright, modern look thanks to its rhodium‑plated finish, making it a stylish and accessible alternative to platinum with a lighter feel. The mirror like rhodium-plated finish does wear-off over time and your ring might look a little yellow which is normal for white gold. To restore the highly reflective rhodium finish, ROX can re-rhodium plate your ring to look like new again.
Yellow gold brings timeless warmth and elegance, celebrating a classic look that’s firmly back in demand, while rose gold adds a romantic, distinctive blush tone ideal for those seeking something unique. For customers who want versatility or standout design, our two‑tone options blend contrasting metals to create depth and modern appeal. Each metal offers its own character, ensuring every ROX ring reflects the wearer’s taste, lifestyle and story.
All are stunning choices — it simply comes down to the look, feel and level of maintenance you prefer.
Platinum is considered hypoallergenic because it's a naturally pure, dense metal that is less likely to cause skin irritation or allergic reactions compared to other metals, making it excellent for sensitive skin. Its purity means it rarely causes irritation.
White gold is not a naturally occurring material; it is a man-made alloy created by combining yellow gold with other white metals which means it isn't inherently hypoallergenic. White gold is plated with hypoallergenic rhodium creating a barrier that works for sensitive skin but over time the plating wears off and this can cause skin irritation for sensitive skin.
Yellow gold is generally considered hypoallergenic, especially in higher purities (18ct) because pure gold doesn't cause reactions; however, the alloying metals added for durability for lower carat gold (9ct, 14ct) can cause irritation and a higher risk of allergy for sensitive skin. 18ct gold offers a great balance of durability and low allergy risk.
Even if the metal used to make the jewellery is hypoallergenic, sometimes trapped moisture or chemicals under the band can cause rashes to sensitive skin.
Yes, all our platinum and gold jewellery is hallmarked. Anyone selling precious metal jewellery in the UK — whether a retailer, importer or craftsperson — has a legal responsibility to ensure their pieces are properly hallmarked. A hallmark is a series of official marks applied to a precious‑metal item by one of the UK’s independent, government‑appointed Assay Offices. There are four Assay Offices in the United Kingdom: Edinburgh, London, Sheffield and Birmingham. Before any hallmark is applied, each item undergoes rigorous testing — known as assaying — to verify its metal purity.
Hallmarking exists to protect you. Because precious‑metal jewellery is typically made from an alloy — a combination of precious and base metals — it’s impossible to determine purity by sight alone. Assaying provides independent confirmation that the metal content matches what is advertised. Consumers have a legal right to this guarantee, and all sellers must ensure that eligible products carry a correct and compliant hallmark.
Yes, you can add a personal touch to your ring with our engraving service. From initials and dates to meaningful short messages, our craftsmen can engrave and personalise most of our collections. Choose from classic or script-style engraving to make your piece uniquely yours. Pricing varies depending on the length and detail of your message, so contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
Yes, all ROX jewellery is provided with an International Guarantee. The International Guarantee covers the jewellery against any manufacturing defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase. For the guarantee to remain valid, your jewellery must be checked and serviced by ROX at least once a year. You can extend the International Guarantee by 2-years by registering your ROX jewellery online. Please note that the International Guarantee does not cover loss or damage resulting from accidents, mis-handling, abusive use (i.e. knocks, crushing, etc), unauthorised alterations or repairs, stones loosened by impact, rhodium wear, tarnishing and general wear and tear.
Yes, you can book an appointment to visit one of our boutiques to view and try on the ring. Simply select the reason for your visit, the boutique from our list of locations along with the date and time that best suits you from the available slots.
Provide us with your name and contact information, along with details of the jewellery you would like to see and submit the form. We will make sure the ring is ready for you to view and transfer it from another location if required. Once the jewellery is here, we will send you a confirmation via email. We’ll roll out the red carpet for your visit and if for any reason you can't make it, you can reschedule it or cancel at anytime.

Clean your jewellery regularly to keep them sparkling. Gently polish platinum and gold jewellery with a soft, clean cloth to restore their shine, and revive your diamonds by brushing them carefully with a soft toothbrush and a suitable jewellery cleaning solution. Always rinse thoroughly and dry well after cleaning, and avoid using any abrasive products that could damage the metal or stones.
You can keep your ring looking its best by following our tips:
Avoid wearing your jewellery during heavy or abrasive activities, as even durable stones like diamonds can chip if struck hard.
Remove your jewellery when applying lotions, sunscreen or perfume, as these can dull the diamond’s brilliance and affect porous gemstones, and keep it away from chlorine bleach or harsh household chemicals.
Lay chains and bracelets flat in its orginal ROX box to prevent tangling.
Store each piece separately in its ROX box or a soft pouch to prevent scratching.
Bringing your jewellery to ROX for a professional clean and check each year helps keep it looking as beautiful as the day you received it. Over time, everyday wear can cause a build‑up of dirt, loosen settings, or create small signs of wear that aren’t always visible to the eye. Our experts will deep‑clean your jewellery, restore its sparkle, and carefully inspect the claws, stones and metalwork to ensure everything remains secure and in perfect condition. This simple annual visit helps protect your jewellery, maintain its brilliance and give you complete peace of mind for years to come. Some insurance companies make it a requirement so check with your insurer.
Finally, ensure your jewellery is properly insured—most home insurance policies can cover it, though you may also choose a dedicated jewellery policy for extra peace of mind.
