Social Media Executive

Summary
We're looking for an experienced Social Media Executive to join our marketing team at Head Office in Glasgow. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the company’s social media strategy by creating and publishing engaging content across all social channels.

Job Description

  • Implement the Social Media Strategy with timely daily posting on all company social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram and the company blog.
  • Work closely with the marketing team in content creation - creating and/or commissioning dynamic written, graphic and video content and setting brand tone of voice across social media platforms.
  • Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content.
  • Use timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analyzing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits.
  • Analyse and report social audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects.
  • Work closely with the marketing and e-commerce teams to implement paid for social media promotions in line with business objectives.
  • Work with the with the marketing team on the look and feel of the e-newsletters, ensure the right balance of product and brand is represented through each email.
  • Manage shoot production and logistics for photoshoots including, look book, editorial & social media shoots.
  • Responsible for the timely production of all marketing material in adherence of the yearly critical path (i.e.: look books, press books, brand presentations, invites, Christmas cards etc.), supported by the marketing team.
  • Sign off on artwork ensuring accuracy of all details.
  • Manage the daily upkeep of marketing calendar and ensure all communication channels are in line, including online and instore VM.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of one – two years’ experience within PR, Advertising or Digital.
  • Literate in all social medial platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and Twitter.
  • Strong interest in the fashion industry and naturally attracted to the brand.
  • Well organised.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a professional and friendly attitude.
  • Meticulous attention-to-detail and proactive approach to work.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent copy writing skills with impeccable spelling and grammar.
  • Creative eye and can translate this into results driven content.
  • Good understanding of PR and viral content.
  • Basic understanding of photographic and retouching process.
  • Experience of paid social would be beneficial.
