Full Time Accounts Assistant

Summary
The company is currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the Finance team. The role will involve supporting the Finance Director with general ongoing monthly accounts routines in addition to providing support to the company's Buying Director, generating data to assist with demand forecasting and planning.

The successful applicant will be highly numerate, have good excel skills, and a preffered working knowledge of SAGE accounting systems. Prior experience in a retail background would be advantageous.

Job Description

  • Processing purchase invoices and managing supplier queries
  • Bank reconciliations
  • General month end reconciliations
  • Weekly reporting on purchases and stock levels
  • Liaising with the Operations team on stock matters
  • Stock demand forecasting and planning
  • Dealing with finance and purchasing questions and queries
  • As hoc duties

Experience

  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Highly organised
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • An analytical thinker
  • Lots of enthusiasm and a real passion to succeed
  • Sense of urgency while maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change

Summary
We are looking for a Merchandise Planner to join the ROX buying team. The role will involve supporting the Buying Director.

Job Description

Demand Forecasting

  • Preparing budgets and sales forecasts
  • Managing and preparing reports for the Buying team
  • Managing stock level to achieve stock turn
  • Analysing price points and sales trends
  • Supporting e-commerce

Order Management

  • Managing the Open-To-Buy
  • Placing orders & agreeing delivery schedules
  • Managing the stock orders
  • Managing supplier performance
  • Monitoring store levels, allocating and replenishing stock accordantly

Promotional Planning

  • Defining obsolescence & disposal strategies
  • Managing in-store promotions

Skills & Experience

  • Intermediate excel skills
