As an E-Commerce Customer Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the ROX eCommerce business by maximising sales and profit potential across our e-commerce shopping channels. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction, fostering brand loyalty, and contributing to the success of the e-commerce business.

Your dedication to delivering exceptional customer service will be key in maintaining a positive ROX brand image and driving growth.

You will be the key point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, and you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and seamless customer experience throughout the entire e-commerce journey.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Management:

  • Supervise and manage a team of customer service representatives, ensuring they are motivated, well-trained, and capable of providing excellent customer support.
  • Set clear performance objectives, monitor team performance, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to enhance team members' skills and overall performance.

2. Customer Support Strategy:

  • Develop and implement customer service strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify and implement improvements to optimize customer service processes and increase efficiency.

3. Customer Enquiries and Issue Resolution:

  • Respond to customer enquiries, complaints, repairs and complex issues, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and empathy.
  • Resolve customer problems effectively and efficiently, aiming for first-contact resolution whenever possible.
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries through various channels (e.g., email, phone, live chat, social media).

4. Order Management:

  • Oversee order processing, tracking, and delivery to ensure smooth and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and warehouse, to address any order-related issues.

5. Product Knowledge and Updates:

  • Stay informed about the company's products, services, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers and the team.
  • Coordinate with the marketing and product teams to communicate any updates, product launches, or changes that may impact customer service

6. Customer Feedback Analysis:

  • Monitor customer feedback and reviews, both positive and negative, and use the insights to improve products and services and enhance the overall customer experience.

7. Performance Reporting:

  • Prepare and present regular reports on customer service metrics, team performance, and customer satisfaction levels to senior management.

8. Customer Retention and Upselling:

  • Develop strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty, exploring opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products or services.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service management, preferably in an e-commerce or online retail setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle difficult customer situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and customer service software (Magento and Zendesk would be an advantage).
  • Analytical mindset and the ability to use data to make informed decisions and improvements.
