COMPLIMENTARY RING SIZING
Don’t panic if your ring choice too large or too small! Your first sizing is complimentary to ensure the perfect fit.
If we can’t size your ring, we’ll exchange it for the same ring in the correct size or specially make a ring for you in the correct size. If we need to specially make a ring for you, this could take a few weeks.
You can take the ring to your nearest ROX boutique where we’ll check your partner’s finger size and re-size it at our workshop. More complex sizings, can take longer and we will advise at the time of your visit.
Alternatively, we can collect your ring via secure courier, re-size it at our workshop and then ship it back to you. You can check the size your finger using the complimentary finger sizer sent with your order. Please request a Returns Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) so we can organise collection on a day to suit you.

Your jewellery will require care and regular maintenance to to protect its appearance.
We recommend that you visit ROX at least once a year to have your jewellery professionally cleaned and checked. This annual check helps identify potential issues like loose settings or damaged clasps, preventing loss of stones or other damage. Some insurance companies make this a requirement of their insurance policy. More frequent inspections, perhaps twice or even three times a year, may be advisable for items worn daily.
Here’s our ROX top tips for caring for your jewellery:
Don’t wear your jewellery while doing heavy lifting, DIY, gardening or working out in the gym. Even though a diamond is durable, it can be chipped by a hard blow.
Avoid contact with gritty substances. Gritty substances can scratch and mark gold and platinum and coloured stones.
Don’t let your jewellery come in contact with chlorine bleach or harsh chemicals when you are doing household chores. Chlorine can lead to discoloration, tarnishing, and even structural weakening of some metals, potentially causing stones to loosen or fall out.
Remove your jewellery when applying everyday lotions such as sunscreen and perfume. Lotions create a film on your jewellery and can even penetrate some porous coloured gemstones.
Store your jewellery carefully. Store each item of jewellery separately in pouches to avoid them scratching each other. Keep chains fastened and lay them flat so they don’t get tangled up.

We offer a complimentary steam clean and check in-store anytime but we charge £35 for a professional refurbish, clean and polish at our workshop.
Our expert craftsman will undertake a thorough check the condition of the band and settings to make sure all the stones are secure. We'll re-polish any small scratches from the surface, tighten any claws and re-rhodium plate white gold if necessary. It's then given a steam clean to remove any residue so the diamond sparkles like new.
If any remedial work is required, we will advise on the best course of action and a quotation for the work.
Gently rub platinum, gold and silver jewellery with a jewellery cloth to maximise its shine. Always rinse and dry your jewellery thoroughly after cleaning.
Diamonds
Diamonds can be brought to life by careful cleaning with a soft brush or jewellery cleaner. Don’t use abrasive cleaners on your jewellery.
Platinum
Over time, platinum develops a natural patina that many people prefer over the “as new” appearance. When this happens, you can have your jewellery refurbished to Look like new again. ROX offers this service for a small charge.
White Gold
Pure gold is naturally yellow. It can be given a white appearance by mixing it with other base metals. All white gold jewellery is enhanced by rhodium plating to give a highly reflective appearance.
General wear, polishing or buffing will eventually result in the rhodium plating being removed. This is normal for white gold. To maintain the highly reflective rhodium finish of white gold jewellery, we advise that you have it periodically refurbished to look like new again. ROX offers this service for a small charge.
Silver
Silver will tarnish over time. Regular cleaning and polishing will restore the original look of silver. Silver is a soft precious metal so re-adjusting of clasps and fittings may be required. You should treat catches, links and stems on earrings with particular care.
We are sorry to hear that you have experienced the trauma of a burglary. You'll need to contact your insurance company immediately and they’ll ask you to get a jeweller to accurately assess the value of you claim.
ROX offers a free consultation to assess the value of your claim and we can prepare estimates for insurance replacement, including photographs, pre-loss valuations, damage reports and supporting documentation confirming details and prices of the items lost or damaged.
ROX is authorised by all of the leading insurers to supply replacement items direct to policy holders and we are authorised to accept LMG Gemcheck Vouchers. If your insurance company suggests an alternative jeweller that you are not happy to use or if they suggest a reduced cash settlement, we suggest you refer them to the Financial Ombudsman News, October 2001.
The Financial Ombudsman ruled that policyholders should be allowed to choose where they purchase a replacement and they are entitled to a cash settlement if they cannot find an acceptable alternative. In such circumstances, the Financial Ombudsman regards it unreasonable for the insurer to make a deduction from the cash settlement to represent the discount it would have got if the policyholder had bought the replacement from one of the insurer’s nominated suppliers.
